Michael Carvill

Michael Carvill (born April 3, 1988 in Belfast) is a professional footballer who currently plays as a striker for Wrexham.

Carvill Started his career with Crossgar Football Club and played with them in the DPK youth league at U10 and U12 level, scoring many goals in an illustrious U12 side which contain some great players including (C), Conor "Heathy" Heath, Johnny Hanvey, Philly Strain, Connor "Sween Dogg" Sweeney and of course at the heart of the defence was Kevin "Mackers" Mahon. This side was a force to be reckoned with and beat teams that included Trevor Carson who currently plays for Sunderland. All in all this side, managed by Adrian "Huggie" Bell was the real making of Carvill.

Carvill came through the youth ranks with Charlton Athletic but was released by them at the end of January 2007. He scored his first Wrexham goal which was the opening goal, in the 2-1 defeat to Newport County in the FAW Premier Cup quarter final on February 27, 2007

Following his release from Charlton, Michael joined Welsh club Wrexham.[1]
