Michael Carreras (b. December 21, 1927 in London, England, d. April 19, 1994 in London) was a British film producer and director. He was most famous for his association with Hammer Studios, being the son of founder James Carreras, and taking an executive role in the company during its most successful years.
As producer, he worked on many of the studio's most famous films, including The Curse of Frankenstein (1957), Dracula (1958) and The Curse of the Werewolf (1960). He later turned his hand to directing, with Maniac (1963), The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb (1964) and Slave Girls (1967) among others. In 1971 he took over directing Blood from the Mummy's Tomb after director Seth Holt died partway through filming.
