Michael Cammarata

Michael Cammarata was born on October 5, 1978. He was a phenomenal athlete as a youth, participating in the 1991 Little League World Series for Staten Island, New York. He was a firefighter for FDNY. On September 11, 2001 his company, Ladder 11, Manhattan was called to the World Trade Center. Cammarata would not survive but would be remembered as an American hero for risking his life every day.
