Michael Bunn

Michael Bunn is a tubist and music professor in the Washington, D.C. area. Bunn has studied tuba under David Bragunier, Paul Kryzwicki, Edward Whitfield, Warren Deck, and Arnold Jacobs.

He has played freelance with many orchestras, such as the Washington Opera and Baltimore Symphony to name a few. Currently he is the principal tuba for the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra, Fairfax Symphony Orchestra, and the Filene Center Orchestra.

Bunn is currently on faculty at Shenandoah University, George Mason University, Howard University, St. Mary's College of Maryland, Towson University, and the University of Maryland, College Park. In the past he has also taught at Catholic University and George Washington University.
