Michael Brauer

Michael Brauer is a New York-based mixer whose credits encompass a wide range of genres, and include The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Change, Paul McCartney, Coldplay, John Mayer, Ash, My Morning Jacket, Ben Folds, Dream Theater, The New Radicals, David Poe, Wilco and Ron Sexsmith.
He has established himself as an A-List mixer with a recent string of highly successful albums. Michael mixed James Morrison’s debut album Undiscovered for Polydor which debuted at #1 in the UK. The album held at #1 for another week and is still top 3 a month in. Also mixed by Michael and doing well on the UK charts is The Kooks’ debut album Inside In Inside Out, which is already double platinum and still top 10 as of the time this article was written, August 2006. Michael has recently completed mixing forthcoming albums for John Mayer and Ben Folds as well as singles for KT Tunstall and Paulo Nutini and a surround sound mix of the forthcoming breathtaking My Morning Jacket Live at the Fillmore DVD.
