Michael Barnes (footballer)

Michael Barnes (born June 24, 1988 in Chorley) is an English footballer currently playing for Manchester United. Michael was spotted playing for Conference North side Lancaster City during the FA Youth Cup and after a successful six week trial the young winger joined Manchester United's youth academy in January 2006, he has made several appearances for Manchester United's triple trophy winning reserve side. He can play with both feet.[citation needed]

He made his debut for United in a Carling Cup game in late October 2006.
