J. Michael Arrington is serial entrepreneur (see below) and the maintainer of TechCrunch, a popular blog covering the Silicon Valley and wider United States technology start-up community.

Growing up in California and Surrey, England, he attended UC Berkeley, but transferred to Claremont McKenna College, a college near Los Angeles after his Freshmen year, with a major in economics.[1] After college he went on to law school at Stanford in 1992, and graduated in 1995. [1]
