Steven Archer is a fictional character in the Syphon Filter series. Archer is a world class assassin who appears in Syphon Filter 2 as one of the primary antagonists. Although Archer maintains his reputation as an assassin, he is also liuetenant to Dillon Morgan. It's Archer in the beginning who shoots down Gabe Logan's chopper in the beginning of the game, and has continued to hunt Logan down until the early mid point of the game. It is here that Logan heads back to the crash site, and attempts to obtain data disks, which Archer takes right before Logan gets the chance to, and then orders his elite hit squad to eliminate Logan. But after disposing of his entire hit squad, Logan finds Archer attempting to escape on chopper, and shoots him off of his chopper before he can escape.

Trivia

  • Archer is voice by Jay Styne
  • He is seen in the same body armor as Jason Chance wears in the finale, but unlike Chance, he remains helmetless.
  • If the player kills Archer with a single headshot before his chopper flies off, then the player will unlock all the Syphon Filter 1 characters playable in the multiplayer mode.
