Michabo

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In Algonquin mythology, Michabo, The Great Hare, (also Manibozho) was a trickster god, and founder of their Mide or peculiar magical worship. He is also regarded, like the Egyptian Thoth, as the inventor of fishing, hieroglyphs, and as the creator of the earth.

A crater of Io was named after him.
