Prince Michał Jerzy Poniatowski (1736-1794) was a Polish szlachcic, Bishop of Płock from 1773, Archbishop of Gniezno and Primate of Poland from 1784.

Knight of the Order of the White Eagle, awarded November 25, 1764. Brother of the last King of Poland, Stanisław August Poniatowski. Served with distinction as president of Poland's Commission of National Education.
