Mia Fey, Chihiro Ayasato (綾里 千尋 Ayasato Chihiro) is a character in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney by Capcom for the Nintendo DS.

Always cool under pressure, Mia Fey is smart, tenacious, a strict teacher and sometimes even coy. She has a great affection for her sister but is also very independent, and strives to uncover truth at all costs.

Head of her own criminal defense law firm, Mia Fey is Phoenix's boss and mentor.

Mia is part of the Fey Family, a family of mystics with an especially close bond to the spirit world. Her mother went missing after DL-6 and her sister Maya is close to her, however they don't see much of each other because Mia left Kurain Village to become a DA.

She was murdered after the first case in PW:AA by a blackmailing businessman called Redd White. She was murdered because she had obtained information on White that could be potentially bad for him. White hit her over the head with a clock statue.

Mia assists in White's undoing by taking over Maya's body and telling Phoenix to look at the back of a receipt. The information on the other side of the receipt conflicts with White's testimony and he admits to the crime after Mia gives Phoenix a piece of paper with names on it, which he reads out. Mia then threatens to give this to the press after which White breaks down and admits to the murder.

Despite the fact Mia is dead she always keeps in touch with Phoenix through channelling. She takes control of Maya and Pearl to converse with Phoenix, particularly in the second game.

  • Her first case was against Miles Edgeworth.
  • She once defended Phoenix Wright when he was accused of murder while in college.
  • She dated Souryuu "Godot" Kaminogi after winning the case with Phoenix. After around six months together, Kaminogi died from poisoning.
  • Her mentor was Marvin Grossberg and was co-council in Case 1 in PW3.
  • She sees her sister for the first time after her death in Justice For All, when Mia is channelled by Pearl.
