Meyerland Plaza
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Meyerland Plaza is a large shopping center located in southwest Houston, Texas, United States. Meyerland Plaza is located in the Meyerland neighborhood of Houston and is just outside of the 610 Loop.
Meyerland Plaza was originally built in 1957 as Houston's second "regional mall". The shopping center started to decay in the 1980's, yet it was remodeled in the 1990's. During the decayed times it was a run-down place that had a haunted house every year around Halloween.
Today, it is an anchor for the Meyerland area. The plaza is located within walking distance to nearby establishments and schools in the area.
