Guillermo Haro (March 21, 1913–April 26, 1988) was a philosopher turned astronomer. His astronomical studies focused mostly on planetary nebulae and flare stars. Haro also discovered what are now termed Herbig-Haro objects (also independently done by George Herbig) which are small patches of nebulosity associated with newly-born stars.
