1859-04-11 - Martyrs of Tacubaya - The forces of conservative general Leonardo Márquez executed the prisoners taken during battle with the forces of liberal general Santos Degollado in Tacubaya, outside of Mexico City.
1928-04-15 - The first scheduled flight of the Mexican Company of Aereal Transportation (today Mexicana de Aviación) took place on the route Mexico City-Tuxpan-Tampico.
