Mexicali Shmoes is a 1959 Looney Tunes cartoon directed by Friz Freleng. The cartoon has Jose and Manuel chasing Speedy Gonzales. This cartoon introduces Slowpoke Rodriguez, Speedy's cousin. This was nominated for Best Short Subject:Cartoons in the 1959 Academy Awards
