I removed the reference to wikiproject on this template meant for the article space per the policy of "avoid self references". If the metalworking project wants to add a template to the talk space that's fine but since this is meant for the article space we should avoid that practice. I've removed the links from the templates as requested by Scott Ritchie but from what your saying it's not just links but all references. I'll visit your supplied link.

FWIW, the template is included on most, if not all of the talk pages. However not everyone visits the talk pages and the wikiproject link has worked at least once — Graibeard 00:56, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
