Talk:Metamorphosis (disambiguation)

[edit] Common misspelling

While I realize that usually misspellings are not encyclopediac, the case of metamorphosis/metamorphoses is an exception because the dissimilarly spelled works in question (Ovid's vs. Kafka's) are significant, and the popularity of the biological term makes it all the more likely that a reader would have difficulty recognizing that they misspelled Ovid's title. rewinn 15:56, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

According to my dictionary, "metamorphoses" is the plural of "metamorphosis." Recury 17:25, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Requested Move

I've requested that this page be moved to Metamorphosis (disambiguation) so that Metamorphosis (biology) can be moved here, per Wikipedia:Disambiguation#Primary_topic. Thoughts? --jwandersTalk 21:44, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

Agree. The biological meaning is primary; the other meanings are references to it. rewinn 21:52, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

Err, the link on the page to Metamorphasis (disambiguation) is redundant.
