Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of Kansas City

The Metropolitan Youth Orchestra was founded in 1997 by Jim Murray and Paul Cooper under the auspices of the Liberty Symphony Orchestra. The MYO is designed for high school musicians under age 19 and provides music students the opportunity to play in a full orchestra while developing their musical skills. It is hosted in William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri.
