Metropolitan New York Rugby Union

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Metropolitan New York Rugby Football Union governs more than 80 men's and women's clubs, college, high-school, and youth rugby teams in the Greater New York metropolitan area, which covers parts of the states of Connecticut, New Jersey and New York. It is a member union of USA Rugby and the Northeast Rugby Union.

The MetNYRFU is governed by a board of directors and managed by a number of officers.

In conjunction with the Referee's Society of New York, the Union leadership manages and fosters rugby for more than 80 men's and women's clubs, college, high school and youth rugby teams in Northern New Jersey, Metropolitan New York, Long Island and Fairfield County, Connecticut.

Each division is now immediately supervised by a divisional coordinator.

The Metropolitan New York Rugby Union is host to all levels of rugby from men's and women's Division 1 through boys' and girls' U-19 rugby clubs.
