The Metropolitan Community Church of Manchester (MCCM) is affiliated to the Metropolitan Community Church and was founded in 1992 by the Rev Paul Scroxton (now Rev Paul Whitting). The Rev Andy Braunston, founding pastor of the Metropolitan Community Church in East London, became pastor in 1996.
The MCCM is a theologically orthodox congregation attracting people from both Evangelical and Catholic backgrounds, as well as those who are new to the Christian faith. It meets in the Anglican parish church of St John Chrysostom on Upper Brook Street in Manchester every Sunday at 4pm for a lively, contemporary liturgical service.
