Metroland is an alternative newspaper that is published weekly in Albany, New York and mainly serves the Capital District area. Metroland offers local arts and music scene coverage, news and feature articles, and political columns with a mostly liberal bent.
Regular syndicated features include This Modern World, Savage Love, and the Advice Goddess.
The paper is edited and published by Stephen Leon and was founded by Peter Iselin. It is in its twenty-ninth year of publication (as of April 2006).
