Metcalfe Station (OC Transpo)

Metcalfe Station is a bus station on OC Transpo's [Central Transitway (OC Transpo)|Central Transitway]]. There are two parts of the station, as the Transitway runs on two parallel streets. The north station serves westbound traffic, and is found on Albert Street, and the south station serves eastbound traffic, and is found on Slater Street. Both of these streets are included in the transitway because of their bus-only lanes. The station is named for Metcalfe Street, which is a north-south street which runs perpendicular to the Transitway. The stations are located west of Metcalfe and east of O'Connor Street.
It is the closest station to Parliament Hill and the Parliament Buildings, and is very close to the World Exchange Plaza. Other nearby key buildings includes the Royal Bank building, Bell Canada Place and Ottawa City Hall.

NOTES
1. Routes 1, 2, 4, 7, and most STO routes are available on Wellington Street.
2. Routes 3, 221, 231, 232, 603, and 693 travel westbound on Albert and eastbound on Queen.
3. Routes 5, 6, and 14 are available on Elgin Street.
4. Routes 15, 16, 18, and 316 are available on Queen Street.
5. Route 124 only serves Albert Street in the AM peak period.
