From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Methodist theologians are those important thinkers who contributed to Methodist theology. Some, such as Arminius and Grotius, predate the Methodist movement but contributed essential pieces to the whole of Methodist theology.[citation needed]

Methodist can mean any theologian significantly influenced by the Methodist movement or the ministry of John Wesley.[citation needed] Wesleyan, in fact, is a common synonym for Methodist.[citation needed]
