What a great idea! I appreciate your generosity! I look forward to working on my article (and others, too) to get it to GA! └Jared┘┌talk┐ 22:44, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yep, this is great! I'm glad you chose GA status rather than FA because GA is far easier to attain than FA. More people will be willing join the contest because of that. MahangaTalk to me 21:25, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
ty for your answers! I'll see if I can pick a better topic for the contest... or will at least re-write that article anyway just as a motivator to do something.

[edit] Er...
Doesn't this "contest" rather fly in the face of wiki's collaborative ideal???
- In reality that doesn't happen often. I tend to see the wiki ideal as a vast network you can turn to if you get stuck or reach the limits of your expertise rather than as a collaboration on individual articles. Dev920 (Have a nice day!) 16:00, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
If multiple people collaborate on an article and it gets to Good Article, then the prize can be split up. —Signed, your friendly neighborhood MessedRocker. 20:28, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
