A big trade fair (Messe) with about 600 persons staff and 252,000m² floor, placed in Düsseldorf near the Düsseldorf International Airport. Every year there are held various (around 40) trade fairs. The sales of 2005 is more than €(Euro)225 Million. The GDS(fashion), K(materials), Medica(health technologies) and Drupa(Print technologies) are very famous also for some foreign experts.

Based on Düsseldorf's long history of trade fairs, this annual fair (Messe) was founded in 1947 as Nordwestdeutsche Ausstellungsgesellschaft mbH (NOWEA), and is now Messe Düsseldorf GmbH(German Ltd.), the largest fair organizer in the world.
