Message to Love (directed and produced by Murray Lerner) is a documentary film from the Isle of Wight Festival 1970. The film showed the various problems associated with the festival including the near riot that occurred over the price of tickets as well as many of the performances that took place during the weekend, especially Jimi Hendrix's final appearance in England. Due to financial difficulties, Message to Love wasn't completed until 1995, 25 years after the event. The concert films Nothing Is Easy: Live at the Isle of Wight 1970 and Live at the Isle of Wight Festival 1970 were created by the same film crews that filmed Message To Love.
