Mesão Frio (pron. IPA: [mɨ'zɐ̃ũ fɾiu]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 26.7 km² and a total population of 4,652 inhabitants.

The municipality is composed of 7 parishes, and is located in the district of Vila Real.

The present Mayor is Marco António Peres Teixeira da Silva, elected by the Social Democratic Party.

The municipal holiday is November 30.
