"MESSAGE / PERSONAL" is Aya Ueto's fourth solo single and first double a-side single. "MESSAGE / PERSONAL" peaked at #10 selling 18,002 copies its first week. "MESSAGE" was used in a commercial for Kaou's "8×4" deodorant powder spray while "PERSONAL" served as ending theme to the anime Konjiki no Gash Bell!!. "MESSAGE" is a Aya's favorite song to sing live. The single was released simultaneously with her first live tour and her first feature film, "Azumi".
