Transmitted back to Earth on 2004 January 25, this is the first color image of Mars taken by the panoramic camera on Mars Exploration Rover Spirit. Color values in the image are slightly odd (note pinkish areas on lander itself) due to the choice of color filters used in this "pancam" image.
