[edit] Susannah Mills
From what I can gather, this Susannah Mills editor is in a band with Melissa Keller or something like that. She seems to want to rewrite the Keller article to imply that Keller is an actress who used to be a model (as opposed to just being model). But, many famous models also have small acting roles. Right now, Keller is not really known as being an actress. She is, however, a former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, which is about as good as it gets in the modeling world. I'll try to look into what Keller is doing these days, or someone else can look into it. But the edits Mills are making have red links, broken templates, original research, sloppy format, etc. Let's try to keep the article as presentable and accurate as possible. - The reasons for the latest revert: (1) Susannah Mills has offered no new explanation for removing the modeling information. (2) Just because Keller's very small appearances in very small shows are lsited on IMDb, it doesn't mean that she is noted for those things. Being an SI swimsuit model is much more notable than being a one-time character on the small screen. (3) The new user "truthtruth2000" or whatever has made only one edit, and that edit was to this page. Seems controversial. Chicken Wing 18:59, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

- I'm with Chicken Wing on this one. There are very strong concerns about conflict of interest when the main editor is part of the same band as the subject. I have removed most of the unsourced info. Pascal.Tesson 22:41, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

- I can't believe this. This article used to have a lot of information about Melissa Keller, but because of pettiness on the part of user:Susannah Mills and user:Jeandre this article has almost no information and has more references than sentences. This is extremely disappointing. Please discuss the proposed changes that you two continue to attempt or I will just revert petty edits on sight from now on. - See Wikipedia:Attribution (previously Wikipedia:Verifiability): "Editors should provide attribution for quotations and for any material that is challenged or likely to be challenged, or it may be removed." - having more (reliable) references than sentences is one of the goals of Wikipedia. -- Jeandré, 2007-02-23t20:55z

- Having more sources than sentences is not a goal. You just made that up. From that same policy: "Although everything in Wikipedia must be attributable, in practice not all material is attributed." The point of Wikipedia isn't to butcher articles because of petty disputes. Everyone that comes to this article to read about Melissa Keller has been done a disservice because of all the arguing. The article is now a shell of its former self. Chicken Wing 23:30, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

The point of this site, as I gather, is to represent fact. Chicken Wing repeatedly deletes fact, most specifically the cited television work Keller has done. As for his assertion that she and I are in a band together? I haven't heard a song yet. I am baffled by this person's desire to keep Keller's biography limited to her work as a model at the age of 15 when she has done far more film and television work in the last five years that has not gone unnoticed.
Also, the assertion that her parts in film and television have been "small" are incorrect. She starred in "Drop Dead Sexy" (she is on the DVD cover) and guest starred on two episodes of "South Beach". This is undisputed fact. Please recognize this.
- Some problems. First, the standard for inclusion is not truth. The standard for inclusion is verifiable. Sometimes the truth cannot be verified. Unfortunately, sometimes false information can be verified. Secondly, her acting roles are mostly lacking noteworthiness. Guest starring in an episode or two of a marginally popular TV show is not notable.
- As for the reason I say you are in a band with Melissa Keller, you go by the user name Susannah Mills. According to this [1], Melissa Keller and Susannah Mills are in a band together called The Issues. It stretches the imagination to believe that the Susannah Mills that edits Melissa Keller's article is not the same Susannah Mills or very closely associated with the same Susannah Mills as the one in The Issues. If this isn't the case, then using the user name Susannah Mills is just a blatant misrepresentation of your identity and you should choose a new user name. Acting as though the claim that you are in a band with Keller is something strange I have concocted extends beyond my limits for assuming good faith.
- Furthermore, you should know that the kind of sockpuppetry you are probably engaged in (using multiple user names to edit this article) is not within the spirit, if not the letter, of Wikipedia policy. Chicken Wing 21:11, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
Again, Susannah Mills is not in this band. As stated MySpace is not a reliable, citable source. This is a bit creepy if not crazy, I don't understand why the above person continues this argument and refuses to allow for fact, reality and information beyond 2003, Fans of people in the public eye, such as the above person who insists on placing the object of interest in a fixed box is biased. Isn't life change? If a non fiction writer publishes a new book but it is of poetry is that not worthy? Accuracy is what I would hope is within the spirit of this site, not a fan's desire to describe an actor's work as "lacking noteworthiness" because this fan associates the subject as a model. Lastly by whose standards is her work as an actor judged?
- You’re trying my patience. I was able to find Melissa Keller’s mySpace from your mySpace, which you used to have posted on your Wikipedia profile. Both of those mySpace articles linked to The Issues, the band you were both in (a mySpace which has conveniently been removed). You also edited an article called The Marathoners, some sort of film endeavor that involved you and Melissa Keller. The mySpace for that project is still up. Because of the level of deceit that you are involved in right now, the “conflict of interest” factor seriously diminishes your efforts to edit this article. MySpace may not be a reliable source for Wikipedia articles, but I can use it in gathering evidence in determining whether or not foul play is afoot.
- Furthermore, since becoming a member of the Wikipedia community, you have repeatedly used it to promote your non-notable projects. This is not a commentary on the quality of those productions. They might be very good. You could be a star on the rise, or you could be a Susannah Mills impersonator. I don’t know.
- It is very well possible that Melissa Keller used to be a model but is not attempting to become a big-time actress. Again, I don’t know. Here’s what I do know. She was a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model – that’s about as high as it gets in the modeling world. Maybe she has given up modeling and has moved on to acting, but small roles in small movies and guest appearances in unheralded TV shows is not exactly the pinnacle of the acting world.
- Melissa Keller is known as a model. If she wants to be known as an actress, I wish her all the success in the world. But until she becomes a notable actress, her Wikipedia article should reflect why she is noteworthy. Guest stars on South Beach are not noteworthy. SI swimsuit models are.
- You also have to understand how Wikipedia works. It is most likely a fact that Melissa took a crap today. I’m sure if you wanted to, you could document it and post proof of it online. But no matter how true it is and how much verification you have of it, it will not be notable (barring extraordinary circumstances) that she took a crap today. It will not merit posting on Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of random facts.
- Finally, Wikipedia is not a representation of the truth. It is a representation of what is verifiable, even though it is very possible that sometimes the truth cannot be verified and that non-truths can be verified. Yes, the spirit of Wikipedia is to have the truth posted, but the criteria to get to the truth is verifiability. All of this being said, I hope not to have to revisit this discussion anymore. You’re a smart person, so deal in good faith and everything will go smoother. Chicken Wing 23:30, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
