The Melling Hellcat is a supercar designed by Al Melling explicitly to be the fastest street legal car in the world. It was introduced in February 2007 and claims to reach top speeds of up to 270mph. The car is powered by a 6.0 litre quad-turbo V10 Engine giving it 1,175hp, significantly higher than that of the current fastest street-legal car, the Bugatti 16.4 Veyron.
