Melissa Holt

Melissa Holt is a competitive cyclist from New Zealand, better known as Meshy by those who know her.
She is strong New Zealand cyclist whose career has been troubled by bad luck. Most recently, in the New Zealand Elite Time Trial National Championships, Holt punctured while up 30 seconds on the field with 2km to go in the race. Other periods of bad luck include crashing and breaking her collarbone in the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne after a rider went down in front of her. In the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Holt had to pull out of the race due to cramps.
