Melissa Gallo (born August 19, 1982) is an American actress.

Gallo currently the second actress to portray Adriana Colón Cramer on the ABC soap opera, One Life to Live, a role she has been playing since 2004.

Gallo joined the cast of One Life to Live on January 20, 2004. Dorian Lord (Robin Strasser) shocked the citizens of Llanview when she revealed that Adriana was actually her daughter.

She was born and raised in New Jersey, the daughter of Cuban-born parents who moved to the United States as teenagers. In December 2003, she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from New York University. Melissa won the role of Adriana on her last day as a student at NYU. She is quoted as saying that she was extremely lucky in getting this role.[citation needed]

The role of OLTL's Adriana marks Melissa's first professional acting job. A dancer since childhood, she continues to take classes when her schedule permits.

Melissa is an avid reader and enjoys going to the theatre as much as possible.

She will soon make her big screen debut as the lead in independent film, Tiny Dancer.

She has signed a four-year contract with ABC's One Life to Live.[citation needed] Gallo is currently engaged to her One Life To Live costar David Fumero who plays Cristian Vega on the soap.
