Melinda Halliwell is a name used by two characters on the television series Charmed.

Melinda Halliwell is the third child of Piper Halliwell and Leo Wyatt.[1] She is the great-granddaughter of Penelope Halliwell, granddaughter of Patricia Halliwell and Victor Bennett, niece to Phoebe Halliwell, Paige Matthews, and Prue Halliwell, younger sister to Wyatt Halliwell and Chris Halliwell. Although her powers are unknown, due to the fact that Leo has now become mortal, she will only be able to have witch powers and no Whitelighter powers. She is a different character to Melinda Halliwell-Wyatt, who in an alternate future was Piper and Leo's first child.[2]

- The character is named in honor of the Charmed Ones' ancestor Melinda Warren.
- Melinda wasn't named on the show, only shown in the flashforwards near the end of the series finale, collecting lunch boxes from Piper. Casting scripts released prior to the first airing of the episode, specifically named her Melinda.[1]
- The fact that the daughter was not specifically referred to led a number of fans on various Charmed internet forums to create theories stating that the child is not Piper's, but Phoebe's -- despite the early scripts naming her as Piper's child, the girl not being either of Phoebe's children shown in the previous scene, the final montage specifically showing the the three sisters with three children each.

Melinda Halliwell-Wyatt is a fictional character on the WB television series Charmed. She appeared only once and was portrayed by actress Clara Thomas.[2]
In the television series Melinda is an alternate future daughter of Piper Halliwell and Leo Wyatt. Although the Charmed Ones actually met Melinda in the future, this was a future in which Melinda was Piper's first born child, Prue was still alive, Leo was not a mortal, and Wyatt and Chris Halliwell did not exist.[2]
Though unexpected, it was not a total surprise when later Piper's first pregnancy produced a boy, Wyatt, not Melinda. It has been explained in the series that with each action made, a different future is created for all. Because of this we can assume that the future Melinda was shown in is permanently changed and that this Melinda has ceased to exist.
