Melanie Shatner

Melanie Ann Gretsch (née Shatner) (born August 1, 1964) is the youngest of the three daughters of Star Trek actor William Shatner and his first wife Gloria Rand. She married actor Joel Gretsch in 1999 and has two daughters, Kaya and Willow.

She had a minor role in Star Trek V: The Final Frontier as the yeoman who brings Kirk (William Shatner) a malfunctioning device into which he attempts to record his Captain's log, as well as a major role in the Full Moon Features films Subspecies film series as Becky Morgan, sister of the protagonist, Michelle Morgan.

From 1989 to 1998, Melanie pursued a career as actress and is now the proprietor of Dari, an upscale women's clothing boutique. She currently resides in Sherman Oaks.
