Melanie Paxson (born Melanie Deanne Moore on September 26, 1972) is an American actress. She is probably most well known for her work in commercials. Paxson was selected from more than 500 actresses to play 'the Voice of Reason' in the Gladware commercials. She currently can be seen in commercials for DayQuil.

Paxson has appeared in several TV shows including The Drew Carey Show, Cupid and Pyramid. She also had a starring role opposite John Larroquette and Christine Baranski in the NBC show Happy Family. She portrayed actress Joyce DeWitt in the television film Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of Three's Company (2003), which was co-produced by DeWitt.

Melanie is currently working on the new ABC show Notes from the Underbelly which is scheduled to begin April 11, 2007 @ 9:30 pm.
