Mehdi Taouil (born May 20, 1983) is a Moroccan football player who, as of 2004 was playing for 1. FC Nürnberg. Since season 2005/2006 he is a member of second division side Montpellier in France.

He was part of the Moroccan 2004 Olympic football team, who exited in the first round, finishing third in group D, behind group winners Iraq and runners-up Costa Rica.
