Hi

Fellow wikipedian Khoikhoi was quiker in welcoming u:). I noticed it yesterday but i couldn't do anything about it. Thanks for Einstein's quote. i will place it on my page right away! Yes, u guessed right, i live in Greece, currently in Thessaloniki. There is nothing more specific to teach about homosexuality in ancient Greece to modern Greeks. I remember in school our teachers saying some stuff, but of course nothing special (we were too young and a teacher should stick to the programmed lessons). More or less, the idea that modern Greeks have on the issue is nothing surprising...: in ancient Greece there were no more homosexuals than in modern Greece or in the world in general. just, ancient Greeks were nore free on such issues and it was something acceptable. btw, where do u live? Ξέρεις ελληνικά (ή μήπως κάνω ηλίθια ερώτηση?). --Hectorian 22:29, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Thanks:). i'll be happy to add as many quotes as i can! and i know, greek is hard to write, even for the Greeks:p --Hectorian 22:52, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Request reason: "I don't think I should be blocked. None of my edits were vandalism. I edited on articles such as 94 world cup, Jerry Rice, Napoleon Kaufman and others. I improved these articles, NOT vandalized them. For example Jerry Rice article said Oakland lost to Tampa Bay 48-24 when in actuality they lost 48-21. I added a Cretan Resistance article, and an article on a documentary film. I have it written on my talk page that if you have a problem with my edits then you can message me. All that editing I did was for nothing? Also, I'm a sockpuppet of Cretanpride? I never engaged in any debates. I responded to a post. That's what you do. Is Apro a sockpuppet too? I'm just asking that you leave me alone. I have NO DESIRE to edit on any articles about sexuality. I already made that clear. Why not block Cretan indefinitly and let me stay? If I'm EVER disruptive then block me as well. I PROMISE I have no Desire to edit on homosexuality in ancient Greece. I will NEVER edit on that article. Block Cretan, not me."

I am not a sockpuppet of Cretanpride. Thank goodness Apro posted something. If he is proven NOT TO BE a sockpuppet then my block should definitely be lifted. Based on one userbox and my interest in Cretan resistance you guys blocked me...makes sense. You could have at least let me argue my case. This is not fair. I would like someone to answer this: If Afro is proven not to be a sockpuppet, then will the ban be lifted? If not I can just make another account but I would prefer not to given the welcome several users have given me and given my contributions. You are making a serious mistake by blocking me. How is Cretanpride and I the same person. I came nowhere nearly as close as advocating what he was. I would like some feedback.MegasAllexandros 10:08, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

Here is one thing I posted before I had any idea this was happening:

I live in California. Yes, I do speak Greek, not a dumb question. I can't type it though. Thanks for the info...I have friends who live in Greece and once I told them about what is taught here they were outraged. I was contemplating posting something on the discussion page of homosexuality in Ancient Greece but seeing how that has turned out with one user, I think I will not. Thanks again...If I ever find another good quote, I'll be sure to give it to you. MegasAllexandros 22:38, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Look at my contributions, and look at Cretanpride's. He contributed mainly to homosexuality in ancient Greece, and a little to Battle of Crete, and WWII. Practically nothing else! I've contributed to many articels and started several. I've never contributed to any of Cretanpride's top three. You are all being rediculous. I would hope that when Apro checks out, I will get unblocked.MegasAllexandros 10:12, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

Unblock request denied. When denying sockpuppetry accusations, it helps to request the unblock from a different computer than that of the puppeteer. Mackensen (talk) 11:14, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

I don't know how it could be the same IP address. I'm at my gym using their wireless internet. If Apro is proven not to be a sockpuppet, then I think the ban should be lifted. If not I will just make another account, but given the welcome I've been given from some users I would prefer to stay on this one. MegasAllexandros 22:27, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
To end on an interesting note, noone in the gym, if they go to wikipedia, can edit. Is it possible for people to have similar IPs? MegasAllexandros 23:27, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

Request reason: "Neither the student loung or gym can edit. This is a shared IP. School year just started which would explain lack of contributions. Request block to be lifted. I am not a sockpuppet."

Decline reason: "No unblock. But we'll try to reduce the collateral damage you have caused to your fellow students by your vandalism and sockpuppetry. ЯEDVERS 16:21, 3 September 2006 (UTC)"

Request reason: "I should be unblocked immediately. You said it yourself...this is a shared IP. I don't know who Cretanpride is and I never operated any socks. And when did I vandalize? Look at my contributions and tell me when. I have been a good wikipedian with a lot of patience. This is dentrimental to the encyclopedia. I request an unblock quickly especially considering Apro was proven not to be a sock."

Decline reason: "Sockpuppetry confirmed per Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Cretanpride and recheck by Mackensen. If you really are innocent, then I suggest you get yourself a new account AND never edit from school (as you claim) again. The reputation of this account has been thorougly trashed by Checkuser and will never recover even if an admin does unblock you. --  Netsnipe  ►  04:34, 5 September 2006 (UTC)"
