Megiddo Junction

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Megiddo Junction is an intersection of Routes 65 and 66 in Israel, located near the kibbutz Megiddo. A major landmark is a large prison (formerly a military prison). Near the junction are the sites of some ancient battles.

The five kilometre stretch of Route #65 east towards Afula is called Kvish HaSargel, lit. 'the Ruler Road', since it is virtually flat and straight as a ruler.
