Megan O'Hara is the sixth episode of the American television drama Nip/Tuck. It aired on September 2, 2003.
Honesty, the breakdown of relationships, and deception are the critical foci of this episode, which begins with an opening consult with a woman named Bliss Burger, who wants her "wings" removed, wings of fat resulting from a great deal of weight loss. Her new internet boyfriend, Isaac, wants a meeting, and she needs to look good! Following the consult, Christian and Sean walk to their cars, and Christian's has the word "Asshole" spray painted on the trunk.
The next morning, Sean is asleep on the couch. Matt finds him and they have a conversation about Julia's miscarriage. Sean says that if it was a boy, he would've named it David, and then begins crying. Christian investigates the spray painting, blaming Nanette Babcock, only to be told by the police office that she has committed suicide. He then blames Grace, who says it couldn't be her, because she knew that Christian was just "a lost little boy" when they slept together. She also claims she never had an orgasm, and to prove she did, Christian has sex with her again. In the break room.
Vanessa, Matt's former-fling-turned-lesbian proposes a three-way with him and her new girlfriend Ridley, to help their relationship. Sean shoulders much of the blame for Nanette Babcock's suicide, and when Julia tries to console him by attempting to have sex with him, he stops her, saying that he can't afford to handle another loss. Matt calls on Christian to get advice for the three-way. While on the walk to the boat, he finds that it too has been vandalized. Sean suggests Christian make amends by going through his little black book, and the two perform the surgery on Bliss Burger.
Megan O'Hara, a woman who survived breast cancer and a double mastectomy is the next consult in McNamara/Troy. When her husband Jim tries to say things to make the situation seem better, she screams at him: "Stop being a cheerleader and let me feel it!". Later, Christian goes through his little black book and gets a call back from Kimber. She tells him to meet her at a studio the next day. He does, and he meets her new manager and fiancé, Nico. But since when do these things affect Christian? He takes her back to his place and has a steamy sex scene in the shower with her.
When walking back to his car the next day he finds Gina standing over the car, dropping off a flyer for a Sexaholics Anonymous meeting. Believing that she is the one trashing his vehicles, he slams her against the car, accosting her screaming with "Trash my goddamn car one more time, and I will trash you! I'm a plastic surgeon! I know just which bones to break to make you an ugly, sorry girl!" Then, he throws her to the ground and drives away. Matt and Vanessa gather supplies for the three-way, and Vanessa thanks Matt for being such a great friend.
Next comes Megan's second consultation. Here, she plays around with B and C-cups, to find out which she likes best. Then, she reveals the scars on her chest from the mastectomy. Sean responds with a poignant line: "Don't you for one second feel ashamed about these scars on your chest--you're just wearing on the outside what the rest of us wear on the inside." Megan decides to take the B cup.
Nico, Kimber's fiance, comes into the office the next day with a baseball bat and smashes up Christian's office. When confronted by Sean about it, Christian admits that he did sleep with Kimber, and promises to break it off. Kimber doesn't take this news well. But, in other people's sex lives, Matt, Vanessa, and Ridley have the three way.
Megan then decides to cancel her appointment, and announces her separation from Jim. When walking her back to her car, Sean kisses her, and Christian catches this. Shocked by this display on Sean's part, he decides to call Kimber back and reinitiate their relationship. We catch a shot of Kimber filling her purse with makeup, her keys, and a can of pink spray paint. Only the viewers see this however. Christian knocks at her door, gives her flowers, and they kiss.
And Bliss? How does her relationship work out? Not so well. When she goes to meet Isaac, she finds he is not the thin, physically fit personal trainer who does Pilates she thought he was. He is an overweight computer nerd. Bliss is shocked.
