[edit] Edits

Hey, I see your making alot of edits to Austrian schilling, that's good. One thing I would ask of you though, please try to use the Show preview button more. It's down below the edit summary box just next to Save page. It would help us who watch this page to more easily track changes and view all at once. Thanks. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask me.  :) Joe I 21:44, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Images

Hi,

Have you thought about uploading images to Commons? If you do that, then the images are available on wikipedia of all languages! --Chochopk 11:39, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image tagging for Image:Algeria 10.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Algeria 10.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] Image scaling

Thank you for adding these images. When you add more, could you leave me a message on what currencies you added, so that I can make sure that the image scale is correct. Thank you. --Chochopk 02:48, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Block

Sorry about that, I was not blocking you, I was blocking an IP and I guess you got assigned that IP. I apologize for the collateral damage, I think you've been unblocked so let me know if there are any more problems. (You can leave a note here, I'll see it - you can edit your talk page when blocked). --Golbez 19:27, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Coin table

Please, when you add coin table to a currency article, sort ascendingly so that they are consistent with existing tables. --Chochopk 01:49, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

Also, please do not link "??" in the coin tables - it points to a disambiguation page, which is to be avoided. I fixed some of them, but if you could fix the others, and don't introduce any new ones, it would be much appreciated. Thanks! Simon12 02:30, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

There has been an established color scheme for the coin table. Take a look at New Taiwan dollar. Please use
  • bgcolor = "#cdad00" for yellow/gold color coins
  • bgcolor = "#b87333" for copper color coins
  • bgcolor = "silver" for silver color coins
Thanks. --Chochopk 01:17, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] help request

Hi,

It seems you have done a lot of contribution on coins. I'm wonderinf if you can merge your edit on Australian dollar into Australian coins? Thanks. --Chochopk 22:59, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] currency image copyright

When you scan a coin or note, you can't release it into the public domain since you don't own the underlying art (I'm not an expert, but this is how I understand it). Please tag these images with {{Money}} which specifies our reasons for thinking we have fair use rights. It also automatically puts them into the Category:Currency images which will make it easier for others to find. Thanks. Ingrid 23:23, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

Sorry I wasn't clear. What I meant is that the coin or bill itself can be considered a work of art. Your picture is then another, derivative, work of art. There are separate copyright issues for each. Just like if you were to take a picture of a painting, you couldn't release it into the public domain. Does that make sense?
To add the template to a page, use "{{Money}}". Ingrid 20:07, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
