[edit] Request Information
- Request made by: Seldon-au 14:56, 8 February 2007 (UTC) seldon-au
- Where is the issue taking place?
- ... Revival Centres International
- Who's involved?
- ... seldon-au (talk • contribs), Informed99 (talk • contribs), 203.23.119.1 (talk • contribs), other anon contributors
- What's going on?
- ... The Revival Centres are a controversial church group in Australia. Their article is continually deleted, or replaced with a bland placeholder page. I have attempted to use the talk page or contact the deleters without success. Informed99 info page nominates himself as a Revival Centre Member.
- What would you like to change about that?
- ... somehow stop the article being vandalised (it has happened probably 10 or 20 times now in a row)
- Would you prefer we work discreetly? If so, how can we reach you?
- ...either way. My email is seldon@pengo.us
[edit] Mediator response
This dispute involves at least one anonymous user who is deleting page content without explanation. I intend to propose semi-protection of the article so that the anonymous contributer(s) can be brought in to a discussion on the talkpage and explain what issues they have with the article's content. WjBscribe 02:33, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
- Since semi-protection there has been little controversy at this article and editors seem to be cooperating on resolving various issues. Seldon-au has not edited Wikipedia for approximately a week [1]. I have enquired on his talkpage as to whether mediator input is still required. If no response is forthcoming, this case can be closed subject to being reopended should future dispute arise. WjBscribe 05:07, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
No further edits from Seldon-au. I am therefore closing this case- if mediation is needed in future it can be reopened or a fresh case started. WjBscribe 01:25, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
