What's going on?

Recently, I created a page on Dennis Calero, one of my favorite comic book artist. The article connects with articles on Marvel comics, X-factor, Acclaim comics and others.

It was deleted by someone, I couldn't tell who, on the apparant basis that it was advertisement, even though I did not include any contact information (I have no connection to Mr. Calero at all) and is not at all worded as a list of services.

...
What would you like to change about that?

can the article be locked from deletion? I understand that people may add or edit the article, but clearly, I think it hs as much right to be there as many other people.

...
Would you prefer we work discreetly? If so, how can we reach you?

It doesn't really matter. It seems pretty clear cut. What can I do, I don;t even know who deleted it.

...

[edit] Mediator response

Coordinator note: Requestee has not contacted either deleting admin. I suggest the article be rewritten in a sandbox, making sure to assert notability before moving to userspace. Premature for dispute resolution, but Mediation Cabal does not generally turn away cases. Perhaps a role of mentor/advocate is called for in this case? ~Kylu (u|t) 04:45, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

I'll take this on, and I've mentioned something on Ughmonster's talk page. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 04:52, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

No response for several days, closing. --Ideogram 03:04, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
