- What's going on?
- I had placed an image, a screenshot, as a placeholder on a talk page. I was looking for a free image of the Rocky Statue and was hoping someone might have a free one. There were two images Image:Rocky_Steps_screenshot_2.png and Image:Rocky_Steps_screenshot_3.png. I noticed that one had been tagged for deletion, but not the other. When I came back a few days later the image was gone.
I asked the admin responsible if he would restore it, and he has refused.
- What would you like to change about that?
- I would like to have to avoid using Wikipedia:Deletion review and have the image restored.
- Would you prefer we work discreetly? If so, how can we reach you?

I recommend the case be closed or postponed for the following reason(s):
- User Awyong Jeffrey Mordecai Salleh is going on a long Wiki break until December.
- Mediators issue non-binding decisions and CANNOT overrule admin decisions.
- The admin involved has already refused to restore it.
In the meantime, the best hope would be to ask other admins for some other opinions. If they agree with the admin's decision, your very last resort for appeal would be the Arbitration Committee, although a RfC (request for comment) in that case would be more appropriate than a new ArbCom case. - Case closed temporarily. Recommended evrik to seek an admin to help as there is nothing to mediate as long as the other party is not on wiki, and that at issue here is whether a photo should be kept - not entirely appropriate for mediation. Jsw663 07:09, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
