[edit] Mediation Case: 2006-08-17 Dalreen
Please observe Wikipedia:Etiquette and Talk Page Etiquette in disputes. - What's going on?
- I wandered across this article some time back; another user User:Craigy144 had reverted the page previously due to copyright infringement, but shortly after that, the page's author, Lasanthar, reverted the edit without comment. The version in place when I first found the article was still the infringing version, so I reverted the article. Soon after that, the author again restored the infringing version. My comments on the article's talk page and on the author's talk page have gone unanswered. A copyvio tag could be added to it, but that doesn't seem the right way to go, and the author would probably not permit it to remain in place anyway...
- What would you like to change about that?
- The best solution in my opinion is to get the page back to the non-infringing version and keep it that way.
- Would you prefer we work discreetly? If so, how can we reach you?
- No need, I think. This page, the article's talk page or my talk page would all work well.

As it deals with copyright issues, I might as well handle this - it obviously isn't much of a medcab case as it's a pure policy related issue, so I will close this case in a few days once the copyvio stays removed. Cowman109Talk 21:14, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
- I am closing this case as the issue seems settled - the page remains on my watchlist. Should the user continue to knowingly add copyvio to the article, I will block him. Cowman109Talk 03:25, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
