[edit] Request Information
- Request made by: 00:32, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
- Where is the issue taking place?
- ...Scally
- What's going on?
- ...I tried to attempt to get outside guys to look at the dispute using WIKI:HELPME but was told off. I want somebody outside of the two sites Scally and Chav to compare the two. My own feeling (from sourced books) is that Scally is seperate Chav historically. In both articles the word can be used in the first sentence as a homonymn in current culture, although some people differenciate in terms of class, culture, and locality.
- What would you like to change about that?
- ...I would like to see the MERGE tag removed. As an Editor I would like to see Chav cleaned up to a much better extent before editors who cannot be bored to edit would rather post spurious merger tags. Wikipedia is about editing, not about daft content wars.
- Would you prefer we work discreetly? If so, how can we reach you?
- ...I can be reached most times through User_talk:Mike33 or email at <<removed to avoid spam>>
[edit] Mediator response
Hello! I'm scooping your case into my lovely arms. Where would you like to discuss this thing out? My talk page has a cool background, so that might be a good place to go... or we could go to the talk page of the article... or we could just use this case page. Where to? --The Prophet Wizard of the Crayon Cake 16:42, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
