[edit] Request Information
- Request made by: Tychocat 09:48, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
- Where is the issue taking place?
- The article WWAW (World Wide Ass Whoopin')
- Who's involved?
- Myself, versus two users - Dreux Ghoul, and KKailas
- What's going on?
- I believe this article is a hoax. It claims to be about a small wrestling federation which allegedly did shows in science fiction conventions, in particular one convention called Exoticon. I found there were no Googles to be found for the WWAW, and the references I could find for Exoticon in other websites all went to the same porn site (exoticon.net). There is an Exoticon.com, but it's a search portal. The article was tagged for copy editing by someone else. The tag was removed without comment. So I tagged it for deletion as a possible hoax. The article was reverted by KKailas. So I tagged it as a possible hoax and questioned its accuracy, plus raised the question in the Talk page. KKailas removed the tag and deleted my comments in the Talk page.
- What would you like to change about that?
- I'd like to have my questions addressed with KKailas, Dreux Ghoul, or both. Is this article a hoax? If so, why are they protecting it? If it's not a hoax, why not let me in on it? They have so far avoided talking to me in any fashion except removing my tags and comments. If the article is not a hoax, I'd be glad to stop bothering them, but they have not contacted me, even after I invited comment.
- If you'd prefer we work discreetly, how can we reach you?
- email is fine. tychocat@gmail.com
- Would you be willing to be a mediator yourself, and accept a mediation assignment in a different case?
-
- This is, following the Categorical Imperative, the idea that you might want to do
- what you expect others to do. You don't have to, of course, that's why it's a question.
- let me think about that. I'm a noob and would like to see how this all works. thanks!

[edit] Evidence
Please report evidence in this section with {{Wikipedia:Mediation_Cabal/Evidence}} for misconduct and {{Wikipedia:Mediation_Cabal/Evidence3RR}} for 3RR violations. If you need help ask a mediator or an advocate. Evidence is of limited use in mediation as the mediator has no authority. Providing some evidence may, however, be useful in making both sides act more civil.
Wikipedia:Etiquette: Although it's understandably difficult in a heated argument, if the other party is not as civil as you'd like them to be, make sure to be more civil than him or her, not less.
[edit] Compromise offers
This section is for listing and discussing compromise offers.
