[edit] Request Information
- Request made by: TimothyOnline 18:16, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
- Where is the issue taking place?
- The page does not exist anymore.
- Who's involved?
- Myself (User:TimothyOnline) and User:Zoe.
- What's going on?
- I created a page on Ham's Automotive, a highly-regarded automotive service facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. User:Zoe subsequently deleted it a few hours later, calling it "advertising". They stated that I need to make sure it meets Wikipedia's guidelines for notable corporations per WP:CORP.
- In order to prove the company's notability per WP:CORP, I searched for several non-trivial published works and showed them User:Zoe. Their response stated that they are still unwilling to leave my page alone.
- You can view our communication here:
- The news articles I produced are from The Grand Rapids Press. The search query is available here:
- You need a paid account to access the full articles. I have the text for these articles, but I'm not sure the distribution would be incompliance with federal copyright laws.
- What would you like to change about that?
- I would like my page to be allowed on Wikipedia and edited like any other page on this great encyclopedia.
- If you'd prefer we work discreetly, how can we reach you?
- You can e-mail me at TimothyOnline@yahoo.com.
- Would you be willing to be a mediator yourself, and accept a mediation assignment in a different case?
-
- This is, following the Categorical Imperative, the idea that you might want to do
- what you expect others to do. You don't have to, of course, that's why it's a question.
- I am not willing to perform these duties at this time.

[edit] Evidence
Please report evidence in this section with {{Wikipedia:Mediation_Cabal/Evidence}} for misconduct and {{Wikipedia:Mediation_Cabal/Evidence3RR}} for 3RR violations. If you need help ask a mediator or an advocate. Evidence is of limited use in mediation as the mediator has no authority. Providing some evidence may, however, be useful in making both sides act more civil.
Wikipedia:Etiquette: Although it's understandably difficult in a heated argument, if the other party is not as civil as you'd like them to be, make sure to be more civil than him or her, not less.
[edit] Compromise offers
This section is for listing and discussing compromise offers.
