Note: This issue went before the Arb com here and they delcined to hear it, because it is such a clear cut case of egregious behaviour. There is currently a block on sight policy on the anonymous user from this IP range. Therefore, this issue can be archived, as it has already (hopefully) been resolved. - What's going on?
- This is the second request for help from the cabal, the first one was never resolved other than the fact that the other party quit posting for a few months. Initially over a minor request for sources and the validity of edits at Hellenic Polytheism an RfC has developed. Unfortunately, the anon user:65.182.172.* keeps posting other editor's personal information and is violating Wikipedia:No personal attacks and Wikipedia:Harassment which are supposedly blockable offences. The most pressing matter at hand though, is that Anon User:65.182.172.* keeps intentionally obfuscating text and disrupting the discussion by manipulating other users text, even when he has been asked not to. Last night he made over 50 alterations to the page - all of them unsigned, unexplained and most of them Ad Hominem Attacks. If one looks in the edit history, you can see what I mean.
- What would you like to change about that?
- Any assistance as far as reminding editors of wikiquette, helping to keep up on what at this point is just wanton vandalism and any advice on how the RfC and mediation process can go forward. Honestly, any outside commentary or intervention whatsoever would be helpful at this point.
