[edit] TRT, Turkey and Ban
"Even though the authorities had no evidence of connection apart from the appearance of Abdullah Öcalan on programs the ban took place. Many Kurds protested the decision at the time where in the Turkish Media the Kurdish language was banned and Kurds still believe Kurdish is socially isn't right to be spoken or broadcasted in Turkey after many years of ban. In the Turkish media, TRT broadcasts Kurdish programmes that amount to around 35 minutes of broadcasting twice a week after European Unions pressure but the private channels don't even acknowledge the Kurdish language or people which are mainly owned by billionaire Turkish businessman such as Aydın Doğan." This has nothing to do with this specific article. The article is about MED and the ban is about Britain, throwing stuff like this is against NPOV. Korrybean 21:17, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
